This sketch in charcoal ended up being more of a caricature than an actual portrait because the proportions are a bit off at first glance. Let me explain! When the face is viewed straight on, the distance from bridge of nose to bottom of nose is supposed to be equal to the distance from bottom of nose to bottom of chin. Now, it's quite possible the guy was tilting his forehead forward, which would make the proportions I have reasonable. Well, let's just assume that's what happened, eheh.
