Quick sketch in Krita. Reference photo: Hi RGD! Would anyone care to draw me?

Digital sketch made in Krita. As usual, I like to work on a very small canvas and then work out the details like the eyes and glasses with a little bit of zoom but not too much. I don't do anything I wouldn't be able to do in real life, like moving an eye or the mouth using a selection. It's probably stupid not to take advantage of the digital medium but that's the way I like to work. Reference photo: RDG artists, do your magic! Draw me please?

Digital sketch. For this one, I just blocked the basic shapes with a larger brush and then put the features with a smaller brush. My laptop is so slow though that the larger brush has a whole lot of lag, which might explain the unblended background strokes. I just can't deal with that nonsense. The brush I used is called Bristles_wet. Reference photo: I was experimenting with my new light I bought for my new camera, and I accidentally took the most dramatic photo ever.

Quick relatively loose sketch made with Krita. Reference photo: But first let me take a selfie, 1940's glam? never been drawn before..love to see what you can do!

Sketch made with Krita, the open-source drawing software. Reference photo: Could someone draw me?

Sketch made with Krita, the open-source digital drawing program. For some reason, I've put quite a bit of color on this one. The hair rendering is clearly a second thought. Oh yeah, the brush I used is called Layout_circle_soft. It's super basic but I kinda like it. Reference photo: This is my mother's favorite picture of me. I was hoping to give her a unique version to display.

Digital sketch in Krita. Reference photo: My best friend just turned 21 and it would be awesome if you guys can draw her!

Digital sketch made in Krita. One of those where you keep fixing things and, at the end, it looks really stiff and not quite right. Reference photo: Hoping this self portrait can help inspire you.

Digital drawing in Krita using a ballpoint brush, my favorite medium (in the digital and real world). I think the nose is a tad too long but it's something I always guilty of. Reference photo: Please draw me! That would me so amazing.

Digital drawing made in Krita using a ballpoint brush and some kind of weird directional blocking marker brush. Went for the melancholic look (not really on purpose though). Reference photo: Can you try to draw me?

Very rudimentary sketch made in Krita using a ballpoint brush. Reference photo: I love this red-lipped selfie. Can someone draw me?

Digital sketch made in Krita with a ballpoint brush and some kind of marker brush (Layout_Block to be exact). This is all done in a very small scale to attempt to get the proportions right. I tend not to erase (If I have to, I just switch to white and use the same brush.) For some reason, I also don't like changing the size of the brush (In real life, you can't change the size of a ballpoint pen, so why should you do it in digital?) Quick sketch made in Krita, the free open-source drawing program. Another one of those sketches where I try to be as loose as possible (Loose is good because it usually means quick, too, at least for me.) To draw quick and loose, I zoom out the canvas until it's just a few inches wide (4 inches to be exact) and I go to town. To draw, I use a ballpoint brush and to erase, well, I just draw with the same brush in the background color. For this kind of sketches, I don't change the size of the brush. Reference photo: If anyone feels up for it would you please draw me?

Sketch made in Krita with a ballpoint brush. Reference photo: I have always thought I looked like one of those 70s disco princesses.

Sketch made in Krita with a ball point pen brush. As usual, proportions are not quite right but what can you do? Reference photo is here: My first time trying this... Could somebody please draw me? :)

Digital drawing made with the free open source drawing program called Krita using a ball point brush. I know nobody is asking but the way I like to work is look at the reference photo and reproduce it as best as I can on a zoomed out canvas. I like to work fast (this one took about 5 minutes withouth erasing, just reinstating lines). Of course, when the work is zoomed back in, it probably looks quite sloppy but that's the way it is. Reference photo and other renderings here: Someone like to draw me? Candid photo of me taken by a friend.

Sketch made in Krita mostly with a ballpoint brush. Reference photo is here: Does anyone want to draw me?

When I sketch, I like to work small since I find it easier to get the proportions right. If things get dicey, I will zoom in to save the day but I try not to zoom too much since it kinda defeats the purpose of sketching.
