That's really the first time I have used watercolor for a portrait. The hue is on the reddish side but the reference photo was definitely on the red side too. I guess I am more a graphite guy than a watercolor guy but I am hoping to improve in the near future. This portrait was done to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" album.
