Ballpoint portrait sketch. I went for a clean look with tight line work. It's about as clean as it's gonna get since I have a tendency to restate a lot and dilute the lines. Remember that this is a ballpoint sketch so there's no room for error since you can't erase (Why would you want to erase anyway when sketching?)

Reference photo: This is me from a fun photoshoot. Please draw me? :)

Sketch that's full of scribbles. I think I went overboard with this one, but I just love to scribble with the ballpoint pen.

Reference photo: Can I be drawn, please?

Ballpoint pen sketch. It was done rather quickly but it's no excuse for what I did to the hair (in particular).

Reference photo: Not a great quality but, can you draw me please ?

Sketch in ballpoint pen. There is supposed to be some hair there but didn't have the guts to do it.

Reference photo: Would anyone like to draw me and my colourful hair?

Quick ballpoint sketch.

Reference photo: Would anyone want to draw me? All styles welcome!

I drew a rudimentary depth map in depthy.me and saved the animated gif below. Another nice time waster.

Gif thanks to depthy.me.

Full disclosure: I had made an earlier attempt, but I made the huge mistake of going a bit crazy with the shading. The shading is not the only problem, just saying. Paper is long gone but scan will be there forever, I think. That's the power of the ballpoint pen. You screw up, you start again because you can't erase, and you get something completely different the second time around (slightly better, I think.)

Earlier attempt.

Ballpoint portrait sketch. Looks more like a bowler hat than a Brodie helmet, eheh.

Reference photo: Brodie helmet and me.

Quick sketch in ballpoint pen.

Reference photo: Would anyone like to draw me? :)

Sketch done with a ballpoint pen. I am a big fan of the ballpoint pen because you can pretty much go through a wide rangle of grayscale values by varying the pressure.

Reference photo: May you please draw me? Be as creative as you like! Thanks

Sketch done on drawing paper with a Bic ballpoint. Yeah, can't say I went overboard modeling the curls. Sorry about that! Rendering hair is not an easy thing, anyways.

Reference photo: Could you please draw me and my crowning glory (My curls)?

Unfinished portrait with Manga Studio 5 using the colored pencil. I have only colored the hair, leaving the facial features in gray. I thought about coloring the iris but, after some internal turmoil, decided against it.

Reference photo: Back when I had a mane full of electric blue hair. Anyone care to turn me into something I'm not?

Digital portrait made in Manga Studio 5 using the colored pencil.

Reference photo: Reddit, can you draw me? :)

Quick sketch in ballpoint. I usually don't do group portraits but exceptions can be made once in a while.

Reference photo: Can someone please draw this picture of my wife and I for an anniversary present please?

Minimalist portrait in sketch mode during lunch. I am starting to think I am too lazy to do anything.

Reference photo: Anyone care to draw me? My hair matches my shirt! Any style would be awesome!

Quick sketch on cheap paper with my trusted Bic ballpoint. The Bic I have used is the 1.0 mm one. It's much lighter and softer than the 1.6 mm one.

Reference photo: This is my face looking oh-so-serious. If anyone feels up to the challenge I would love to be drawn!

Cristal Bic ballpoint sketch. With a dash of whiteout. The Bic pen I am using is the 1.6 mm one, not to be confused with the original and usual 1.0 mm one. It doesn't matter whatsoever but it had to be said nonetheless.

Reference photo: in case you need an idea what to draw, maybe this picture of me is a good motive :)

Quick sketch in ballpoint pen. Now, I have to admit I used a little bit of whiteout in the mouth area. That's full disclosure for you.

Reference photo: Mind drawing me? Thought it could be a challenge.

Sketch made with Cristal Bic ballpoint pen. This is loose sketching without a net, without any possibility of erasing. I kinda like to live dangerously. Kinda wish I could go back to the left eye area and redo it though, eheh.

Reference photo: Howdy folks! Here's my face.

Quick, super loose sketch made with my trusted Bic ballpoint pen.

Reference photo: Anyone care to give me a try? :3

Sketch/drawing hastily made with a Bic ballpoint pen. Didn't scan the portrait but rather took a picture with my phone (Sorry about that!)

Reference photo: I would love to be drawn, please :)

Quick sketch/drawing made in Manga Studio 5 using the colored pencil.

Reference photo: not really too interesting of a picture but i would appreciate if anyone would ever sketch me or something!

This drawing was made in Manga Studio 5 using the colored pencil. If I had more time, I would have inked it and put some screen tones for the shadowy parts.

Reference photo is here: Good afternoon, wonderful Reddit artists! I have an asymmetrical face. Go ahead and work your magic in any style! :)
